Scenario construction may be viewed as an exciting alternative to other approaches dealing with the analysis of industries, markets, firms, technologies etc. It is thus an important but often overlooked addition to the toolbox of corporate strategy.
Some possible research questions could be; "How will industry X develop in the future?" or "How could company Y make use of scenario construction in strategy development?".
Methods may be quantitative, qualitative or a mixture of both. The approach is especially well suited to investigate high-tech growth industries. Students are free to develop the project according to their own preferences. So if you already have some ideas and contacts of your own, this might be the project for you.
Students can expect master thesis supervision that may be online or on campus as needed. Remote work is possible.
