Applied Deep Learning and data fusion to improve elevation data with satellite imagery at DHI

Project purpose and content:

Develop a new data product based on the combination of two data sources. One is a coarse elevation model, which was measured from the space shuttle, detailing the surface of the earth + LiDAR DEM data. The other is a set of satellite images of the earth. By combining these two data sources, through a deep learning model, an enhanced dataset will be created. In this project, real world application of deep learning is central and a wide range of data sources will be used as input and training data.


Deep learning experience and Python programming are central to succeed in this project.
